Why donate to the Faculty of Medicine?

A donation to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Turku supports research in medical and health sciences in our core expertise areas: biomaterials, cancer, cardiometabolic health, care and service research, child wellbeing, diagnostics and health technology, drug research, imaging, immunology and microbes, neuroscience, and nutrition. Donated funds are also used to develop novel educational and research innovations in medicine and health science.

Donations of 850€ and more per year for the benefit of science are tax-deductible in Finland. The donation can be given in several installments during the calendar year. If the social security number is given on the donation form, University of Turku can register the donation with the tax authority.

The information given on the form is saved in the donor register of the University of Turku. The personal data is used for contacting the donors according to given concent. More details in the privacy notice.
